Introduction
This is my first attempt on doing a Flight Simulator Cockpit.
I don't need 100% similarity with the real A340 for example I changed the
colors for a darker cockpit and
I have one more monitor on the left (like A380) for support programs. The
main objective is to create a
confortable cockpit with some degree of immersive without using mouse or
keyboard.
The work is very far from ending, I think I'm now at about 30% of
conclusion.
Why the Airbus A340
First, because I like big planes with four engines.
Second, because I think the Airbus cockpits are more modern that Boeing.
Third, I prefer a sidestick to a yoke. :-)

My new Projector, very nice
upgrade to the Sim.
2007/12/24
I'm remaking the MIP, to
be more similar to the real one.
2007/09/13
I'm starting to make the
cockpit more similar to the real A340, so I've
bought 2 excelent panels from my friend Marco Serrano.
2007/08/27
Starting to use SIOC from
opencockpits, very nice and powerful language.
Also changed my aircraft, started to use the ProjectOpenSky A340 with the
new TAP Colors but I'm still using the PSS panels.

My Rudder Pedals are
almost finished, the rudder functionality is working like a charm.
But need to include the braking functionality.
Prototype
of the overhead already working with the lights switches and
"Fasten Seat Belts" and "No Smoking" switches.

Starting to
make the Flaps Lever and Brakes Lever.
Will be connected to the
USB-Axis from opencockpits
2007/05/27
After 7 months, it starts to look like a cockpit.
Functional Now: Landing Gear, Auto-Brakes, Throttle, Start Engine,
Parking Brake and EFIS
April 2007
Sidestick
Throttle, now with the
reverses
All the panels were made by
me, I will
describe later the process of doing it.
Photoshop was very useful...
